Beaux Collins updates health, shares his thoughts on the upcoming season.

Plenty of Clemson Tigers are expected to have a big season on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball, but no position has a bigger question mark on it than the wide receivers. With Garrett Riley's new system ready to make its debut, some of those wideouts are looking to make a difference.

One such player is junior Beaux Collins. A fan favorite, Collins has shown the ability to create highlight reel plays but has struggled to stay on the field due to injuries. The 6-foot-3 Collins sat down with the media to discuss the upcoming season and was asked if this is the healthiest he's been.

"Not gonna lie, probably since, maybe since I got here, really. I had a foot injury when I got here my first spring. I know a couple of like groin, hamstring injuries and things like that I had to overcome and it feels great, man, to finally be healthy. It's been probably a couple years since I've felt this great."

Collins isn't the only Clemson receiver that's gotten healthy. The Tigers were also without Adam Randall and Antonio Williams for the spring game. According to Collins, everyone is now ready to go.

"The group right now is 100%. We've never had this many guys going into camp fully healthy, ready to compete. So going into the Duke game, you guys should see everybody on display, man. I'm excited to see what the group has to offer this year."

Collins was later asked about Garrett Riley's system. One of the main objectives this offseason has been streamlining the offense, but that doesn't necessarily mean the Tigers will have fewer plays to call.

"I wouldn't say noticeably fewer [plays]," said Collins. "Like, the QB could tag one side on something else, then on the completely other side could have a completely different play. So, it was just about the same but just you got plenty of combinations."
