Alex Smith can’t escape the pistol offense in Kansas City
According to Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star via NFL.com, Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith was seen running a bunch of plays out of the pistol formation. He of course ran the same offense with the 49ers last season.
The Chiefs hired the creator of the pistol, former Nevada coach Chris Auit to help with running as well as stopping the pistol.
