MLB home run props 4/8: Great prices on dingers today

We closed out last week with a +480 cash on Ezequiel Tovar to go yard, giving us three winners in our last five days of home run bets. Let's keep the good times rolling with three more home run props for Monday's MLB slate.

Christian Yelich (+560 FanDuel)

Brewers vs. Reds, 6:40 p.m. ET

Christian Yelich is starting to look more like the player who belted 80 home runs and led the league in slugging percentage from 2018-2019. The Milwaukee Brewers outfielder is slugging .654 with three home runs in seven games this season, and his advanced stats are even better. Yelich ranks third in MLB in expected slugging percentage and 12th in barrel percentage this year, per Baseball Savant.

Now he gets to face Cincinnati Reds starter Graham Ashcraft, who surrendered 23 home runs last season and gave up two dingers in his 2024 debut against the Philadelphia Phillies. Great American Ball Park is one of the friendliest home run stadiums in MLB, so we love Yelich at this price.

Ketel Marte (+400 FD)

Diamondbacks vs. Rockies, 8:40 p.m. ET

Colorado Rockies starter Kyle Freeland is one of our favorite pitchers to fade with home run props, especially at hitter-friendly Coors Field. The left-hander has been shelled for three home runs and 17 earned runs (!) in two starts this season. One of those starts came against the Arizona Diamondbacks, and he surrendered 10 earned runs in only 2.1 innings of work.

Let's roll with Ketel Marte, who has three home runs and a .733 slugging percentage in 45 career at-bats against Freeland. The switch hitter has always been a better power hitter from the right side, and this is a great spot for him to pounce on a pitcher he's dominated in the past.

Michael Conforto (+650 DraftKings)

Nationals vs. Giants, 9:45 p.m. ET

This is a crazy price on one of the hottest hitters in MLB to start the year. Michael Conforto leads the San Francisco Giants in batting average (.351), OPS (1.118) and home runs (three). He also ranks eighth in the league in OPS, ninth in barrel rate (21.4 percent) and 15th in xwOBA (.438), per Baseball Savant.

Washington Nationals starter Trevor Williams gave up the fourth-most home runs in MLB last season, and Conforto is batting .385 with a homer and two doubles in his career against the right-hander. Oh, and the wind will be blowing strongly out to right-center field, per Swish Analytics. Need we say more?
