USA TODAY Sports

Norris Cole began his NBA career by playing for the best team in basketball.

The former Cleveland State star was the 28th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft and won two NBA Championships while playing with Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat over his first two seasons in the league.

He most recently played in the NBA during the 2017 season when he was a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder and averaged 3.3 points and 1.1 assists per contest while shooting 30.8% from the field in 13 regular season games (he also appeared in four NBA playoff games).

According to Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype, Cole has now signed with Al Ahly SC (a team in Egypt).

The 34-year-old has spent a large portion of his career playing overseas, and in 2021-22, he averaged 13.3 points and 3.6 assists per contest while shooting 43.7% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range in eight games with Bourg

In addition to his time with the Heat and Thunder, Cole has also played for the New Orleans Pelicans over six seasons in the NBA.

His career averages are 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest while shooting 40.7% from the field and 32.4% from the three-point range in 360 regular season games (he also appeared in 68 NBA playoff games).

At 34, Cole is likely done playing in the NBA, but he continues to have a solid professional career and has won a lot of games.
