Keldon Johnson Praises Dom Barlow: 'He Plays Really Hard!'

"I don’t think most people realize playing hard, every possession, that’s a real skill in the NBA," Keldon Johnson said. "I feel like that's his best trait. He (Barlow) plays really hard, he listens to Pop, he listens to the assistant coaches and he’s always in the right position to be successful."

Barlow scored a season-high 19 points for the Spurs in their 126-113 win against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday ... potentially a sign of what's to come if he gets more minutes.

Barlow's playing time increase was a result of Devin Vassell and Cedi Osman missing the game, but with the season winding down, perhaps the second-year undrafted pro could see more minutes. Barlow has only played in 26 games this season, but most of the games he missed was large in part due to his time in the G League.

With 18 games to go, the chances of Barlow seeing more playing time increase and perhaps his effort will rub off on his teammates.

The Spurs are back in action tomorrow against the Golden State Warriors. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.
