The Raptors are expected to sign free agent power forward Reggie Perry to an Exhibit 10 training camp contract, per Anil Gogna of No Trade Clause.

Before doing so, however, the Raptors will need to “carve out” a roster spot, Gogna wrote.

Perry, 22, is 6-foot-8 and appeared in nine games with the Trail Blazers last season, as well as one with the Pacers. He was waived by the Raptors in training camp ahead of the season.

Overall, he has played in 36 NBA games since 2020, posting career averages of 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds. He signed three 10-day contracts with Portland and one with Indiana.

Perry was originally selected by the Clippers in the second round (No. 57 overall) of the 2020 NBA Draft. He has also spent time with the Nets and in the G League.

An Exhibit 10 contract counts toward the offseason roster of 20, but not toward the regular-season roster unless the player is signed to a standard deal.
