Paris Saint-Germain will likely lose Kylian Mbappé this summer transfer window. The 25-year-old’s contract expires in June, and many expect him to join Real Madrid, so the Parisians must find a replacement for his production.

Despite this run to the semifinal, with only Borussia Dortmund standing in the way, it seems Mbappé is on his way out. While the fairytale will be for him to leave, handing PSG a Champions League trophy, the club’s management must have their eyes on several players to bring into this project

Several players have surfaced over the last few months regarding what standout the Parisians could pursue. One name that journalist Ben Jacobs believes is in PSG’s file to pursue this summer is RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.

Jacobs notes in his column for Caught Offside that the Ligue 1 side aims to “focus on names like Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko as they look to add goals.”

The 20-year-old Slovenian has scored 13 goals and registered two assists in 37 total appearances for the German side. Additionally, the striker has a transfer value of €40 million per Transfermarkt

Sesko is a player who will be in high demand. A recent report reveals Arsenal are stepping up their plans to sign a forward this summer, and the Leipzig star is a top target. Perhaps the Champions League quarterfinal exit has shown the Gunners that they’re missing a clinical goal scorer.
