Liverpool youngster Jarell Quansah reflected on a tough afternoon against West Ham United.

The center half admitted the Reds should have won the game, especially given their poor run of recent results.

However, they had to settle for a point and likely third place in the Premier League this season.

[We will] just [do it] like we've always done and just try to win every game we can," the 21-year-old told Liverpoolfc.com.

That's all we can do really, keep trying to play our way and keep doing everything we can to finish the season well and give the gaffer a good send-off."

It's a tough game to reflect on straight away," added Quansah.

I thought we played well in the first half but it was disappointing to then be a goal down. But we came out fighting [in the] second half with aggression and everything we needed really.

It was just a shame they got their second goal. There's stuff to reflect on and improve on, especially for myself."

He added: We knew that [West Ham were a threat from crosses] coming into the game and it's disappointing conceding them, set-pieces especially and allowing crosses, but when they come in we've got to be more aggressive and got to attack them more.

We can definitely look to that and try to improve on it."
