Jimmy Connors holds the record for most singles trophies with 109, but Djokovic is slowly threatening to overtake him. While the journey is still long, Djokovic is slowly coming up on that number as he currently sits at 97 with a chance to win number 98 this week at the ATP Finals. The Serbian begins his campaign later today against Holger Rune as he looks to continue his winning streak. He's won 18 consecutive matches dating back to the US Open, with his most recent loss being the Wimbledon loss to Alcaraz. With a form like that, it's not impossible to see Djokovic win a few more trophies and possibly eclipse the record of Connors, which stood for a very long time. The legendary player hosts a tennis podcast weekly where he discusses the sport, and in the most recent episode of the Advantage Connors podcast, he talked about Djokovic potentially surpassing him.
