The last time Djokovic and Nadal won a grand slam was when they performed incredibly with injuries, and Simon thinks it's legit.

Last year's Roland Garros was Rafael Nadal's most recent grand slam victory. Due to the pain, he was experiencing, he played the tournament with essentially a numb foot. Nadal was taking shots every day to compete, but he still produced at an extraordinary level.

Djokovic did a similar thing at this year's Australian Open as he performed incredibly with an injury that most players agree is significant. Gilles Simon dismissed claims that either faked the injuries explaining that they're simply that great.

When it's Novak or Rafa, we think they're kidding us because they win the Grand Slam. But winning the Grand Slam is their level. They have such a margin on the guys behind that, not even fully, they win. They are stronger.
